1. Identify new business opportunities for the company for both existing products/Services as well as new products/services and convert them into actual sales. This work will include web research, data analysis, contacting via emails / telephone networking and customer visits to both existing and new clients.
2. Closely interact with existing customers to understand their desired products/services, buying pattern and purchase needs as well as future business requirements.
3. Identify product/service specific requirements from customers, negotiate and conclude orders, do required follow up and retain them as long term clients.
4. Study and understand Market potential for various new products / segments and make strategic plans for promotion / market penetration.
5. Regularly interact with respective principals, and closely monitor business development activities.
6. Work towards maximizing business, profitability and achieving growth.
7. Ensure Sales & Marketing information system (MIS) is routinely updated especially in relation to customer visits, quotations and related information.
• Excellent communication and time management skills as well as ability to handle multi products.
• Strong bent of analytical mind, collection / analysis of data and preliminary interactions with end users and importers.
• Candidate should be willing to travel locally and internationally as per business needs.
• Excellence in web research
• Should be highly self-motivated.
• Should be having preferably past experience in a similar kind of activity."
